About Lactation Consultation

Motherhood brings on many new experiences, and our goal is to make breastfeeding a pleasant one. The comfort of you and your baby is our priority, and a lactation consultant can provide support and education for any challenges you may face when beginning breastfeeding.

Whether you’re a new mom with questions, you’re experiencing latching difficulties or even discomfort, lactation consultation will help you transition into this new phase of motherhood.

Jennifer Woods, RN, IBCLC is our full time board certified Lactation Consultant. In her 19 years as a pediatric and newborn nurse, she has helped countless mothers discover ways to make breastfeeding work for them and the health of their babies.

“As a mother, I know how important it is to have support during this special time between you and your newborn. I work with mothers to design personalized breastfeeding plans to meet their specific goals and their baby’s needs.”
